Digital Fan Control

The DigitalFan effortlessly maintains your desired cooking temperature, anywhere between 80°C and 370°C via he new onboard computer which has been completely redesigned and rebuilt to give you the most advanced controller ever seen on a Gravity Series BBQ. With the push of a button, the controller speaks to the onboard fan, that moves airflow from the hopper to the cooking chamber, and maintains the desired cooking temperature throughout. The digital display will even give you graphs of your cooks, help prompts, tips & more.

Hold Function

On a Masterbuilt XT grill, the “hold” function refers to a button that allows you to temporarily pause the fan, which is particularly useful when you open the lid to check on your food, preventing sudden temperature spikes during cooking; essentially acting as a “pause” function for temperature control. Key points about the hold function: Purpose: To maintain consistent temperature by pausing the fan when the lid is opened. Operation: Press and hold the designated “hold” button on the control panel to activate the pause function. Benefit: Helps prevent large temperature fluctuations when checking on food during cooking.

Gravity Fed Charcoal Hopper

Redefine charcoal cooking with the GravityFed™ Hopper that holds 12+ hours of fuel using lump or briquette charcoal. No need to remove charcoal after each use. Easy Clean Tray System

Cleaning is made as easy as possible with this system. All greases drain to the bottom of the BBQ, making cleanup a breeze, as the whole bottom of the BBQ slides out as one large tray. Along with having an integrated drip tray. Pellet and gas grills are often prone to grease fires, but not the Masterbuilt Gravity series.

Searing Hot

Sears like no other. When we say the XT gets hot we are not lying, it will sear like a direct heat charcoal grill. Unlike pellet cookers which claim searing, this really does!
